Your Right to Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. We will process deletion requests within 30 days of verification. Certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., financial records).

How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your data, send an email to info@shindoapp.com from the email address associated with your account. Include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line and provide:

  • Your full name
  • Email address associated with the account
  • Gym name (if applicable)
  • Whether you are a gym owner or member

What Gets Deleted

Upon verification of your request, we will delete:

  • Your user account and profile information
  • Member records associated with your account
  • Attendance history
  • Subscription and purchase records (anonymized for accounting)
  • Payment method data (handled by Stripe per their policies)

What May Be Retained

We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

  • Financial transaction records (as required for tax and accounting purposes)
  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics data that cannot identify you
  • Data necessary to resolve ongoing disputes or enforce agreements

Gym Owner Account Deletion

Deleting a gym owner account will also initiate deletion of all member data associated with that gym account, unless members have independently requested retention or transfer of their data. We will notify affected members before proceeding with gym-wide deletion.

Third-Party Data

Data processed by third-party services (such as Stripe for payments) is subject to those services' own deletion policies. We will provide you with information on how to submit deletion requests to those services upon request.
