Stripe Connected Account Agreement

Payment Processing

Shindo uses Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe") to process payments for gym memberships, session packs, and shop purchases. By using Shindo's payment features, you agree to be bound by Stripe's terms and policies, including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.

Gym Owner Responsibilities

As a gym owner using Shindo, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate business and banking information for payout processing
  • Complying with all applicable laws regarding the sale of goods and services
  • Handling member disputes and refunds in accordance with your policies and applicable law
  • Maintaining appropriate licenses and permits for your business operations
  • Not using the payment system for prohibited goods or services

Prohibited Businesses

You may not use Shindo's payment processing for: illegal products or services, counterfeit goods, gambling, adult content, weapons, or any business category prohibited by Stripe. See Stripe's Restricted Business List for full details.

Fees

Shindo charges gym owners a platform fee based on active member count. Stripe separately charges payment processing fees on transactions. These Stripe fees are standard industry rates and are deducted from payouts.

Payouts

Funds from member payments are held by Stripe and transferred to the gym owner's connected bank account according to Stripe's payout schedule. Shindo does not hold or transfer funds directly.

Refunds and Chargebacks

Refund requests are handled by the gym owner through the Shindo admin dashboard. Chargebacks initiated by members are processed through Stripe. Gym owners are responsible for chargeback fees and may be required to provide evidence to dispute chargebacks.
